Client Brief
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is one of the world’s leading energy producers and a primary catalyst for the growth and diversification of the Abu Dhabi economy. Founded in 1971, ADNOC has been responsible for harnessing the UAE’s energy resources by meeting the demands of an ever-changing energy market and ultimately transforming our nation. Adnoc’s diverse family comprises more than fifty thousand people who originate from the UAE and beyond, with over 100 different nationalities represented across the company.
The Scope
The scope of the project was Construction of covered walkway and Welcome center. Most of the on-site activity was carried out externally and the activities included major demolition works, external modification works, excavation works, concrete works and provision of final finishes along with provision of all MEP and ELV services.
The Fast track walkway construction project was a part of ADNOC’s Phase 3 development cycle. Complete design and construction along with the modification of the existing “Welcome Centre” was executed linking to the basement south facade entrance. The main focus behind the design was to introduce vibrancy while showcasing the Emirati Roots and providing a strong visual narrative of the phrase “Energy for Life”.
Challenge
- Delivery the project in a timely manner in order to meet the end user’s schedule.
- Delivery and installation of long lead items. Management of multiple stakeholers involved in the execution of the project.
How we added Value
Selected materials and the delivery was ensured within the budget and within the project timeline. The project was delivered with high quality workmanship and professionalism. A strategic methodology in project management was used in accomplishing the timely completion of the project.
