AHI Design was tasked with refurbishing Upper Ground floor offices of ADNOC and consolidating few departments into one floorplate. The brief asked for an open plan agile workplace where employees could collabarate freely and adopt mutiple work practices with particular focus on creativity and efficiency .

Client Brief

Supreme Petroleum Council headquarters situated right beside ADNOC HQ at Corniche Road, Abu Dhabi is considered as one of the most prestigious heritage sites in Abu Dhabi. A complete refurbishment of the VVIP ground floor was designed and executed by AHI design in collaboration with the client.

The Scope

AHI Design was tasked with refurbishing Upper Ground floor offices of ADNOC and consolidating few departments into one floor plate. The design asked for an open plan workplace where team members could collaborate freely and adopt multiple work practices with particular focus on creativity and efficiency.

The Challenge

Flagship HQ building of ADNOC. Challenge was to maintain the cultural heritage and achieving contemporary design features.

How we added Value

Selected materials and the delivery was ensured within the budget and within the project timeline. The project was delivered with high quality workmanship and professionalism. A strategic methodology in project management was used in accomplishing the timely completion of the project.

The project is consisted of a complete refurbishment of ADNOC old HQ Ground Floor. The project scope included demolition of old walls, water proofing and block works, Internal and external Glazing, Flooring which included natural stones (marble and granite), porcelain tiles, carpet tiles and broadloom. The wall finishes were a combination of white paint and silver teak wood cladding and wooden battens. Ceiling solution was provided with a bespoke design finished in gypsum and metal. Specialty items such as sanitary fittings and accessories were provided along with reception counter made of natural stone. Complete architectural and MEP solution was provided.
